Context-Adaptive Multimodal Wireless Sensor Network for Energy-Efficient Gas Monitoring

Abstract:

In order to improve people’s comfort, health and safety it is very useful to monitor the living room. In which Air quality is the main factor due to diseases like Headaches, nausea, dizziness, eye and throat irritation are caused by air. Earlier, only C02 concentration was controlled, but in the recent several years Volatile Organic Compounds are also used as indicators of persons comfort. The advantages of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in monitoring are the flexibility in deployment and savings in time and money by avoiding power wiring and the related to infrastructure.
